Dr. Ohayon completed his Pediatric residency training in 1996 and his fellowship in Allergy & Clinical Immunology, combined children and adults, in 1998.  Following his training, he worked as a consultant Pediatrician for the McMaster Children’s Hospital while establishing his consulting Allergy/Immunology practice for the Southwestern Ontario region.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, both in Pediatrics and in Clinical Immunology and Allergy.  He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University and is currently on staff at Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Hospitals.  He serves as the medical director of the Community Asthma Education Program at McMaster University.

Apart from his clinical duties, he teaches medical students and residents in the field of Allergy and Pediatrics.  He is a member of the Pediatric Undergraduate Education Committee at the medical school.  His interests are in the field of anaphylaxis and immunotherapy. He has published in allergy and primary care journals. He serves on advisory boards in the field of allergy therapeutics and contributes to local continuing medical education as an invited speaker. He is a member of the Canadian and American Allergy Societies.
