DR. J. OHAYON - ALLERGY & IMMUNOLOGY CLINIC
Due to the nature of the appointment, your child’s assessment may include an allergy work-up; therefore, your child will require the following preparation:
For five (5) days before your appointment, you must discontinue antihistamines and over-the-counter cough, cold, or flu medications (including Gravol, which contains a decongestant). If there are concerns discontinuing your antihistamines, please contact our team.
You can continue using asthma puffers, allergy nasal steroid sprays and eczema creams.
**Nursing mothers will be required to follow the same protocol for preparation**
