SAFETY TIPS USING INSECT REPELLENT

  • Always apply sunscreen before applying insect repellent

  • Always read the entire label prior to application of the repellent.

  •  Apply only a small amount of repellent, you do not need a lot for it to be effective.

  •  Do not use insect repellent under clothing.

  •  If you get repellent in your eyes, rinse them immediately with water.

  •  Do not use the repellent on open wounds, or if your skin is irritated or sunburned.

  •  Avoid breathing spray mists

  •  Use only in well-ventilated areas away from food

  •  Spray on your hands first, then apply to your face and wash your hands immediately after.

  •  Wash treated skin with soap and water when you return indoors.

  •  Always supervise the application of  insect repellents on children.

  •  If you suspect that you are reacting to an insect repellent; stop using the product immediately, wash treated skin, and get medical help.

  •  When you go to the doctor, take the product container with you.
